MASSES: SATURDAY 4 PM | SUNDAY 7 AM, 9 AM, 11:30 AM, 5 PM
Our Sunday readings invite us to examine not simply whether we are generous, but whether we are just. Exodus reminds us that God's concern rests particularly with those who lack protection. The psalm teaches us that our strength comes from the Lord. Saint Paul describes faith powerful enough to transform a community's way of life. And Jesus reveals that our obligations to others are inseparable from our relationship with God. Stewardship therefore requires more than occasional acts of kindness. It asks us to examine the choices, habits, and priorities that influence another person's dignity and well-being. Love must become responsibility.
- Are there habits or attitudes in my life that unintentionally contribute to another person's exclusion, hardship, or loss of dignity?
- What would change if I understood my resources and influence as gifts entrusted to me for the good of others?
Please include the following in your prayers this week:- For joyful hearts that share Christ's love through thoughtful gifts and generous service.
- For our Catholic schools, that generous supporters may strengthen their mission of forming faithful disciples.
- For our beloved dead, that God may grant them eternal rest, and that families gathering for our Memorial Mass may find comfort in Christ's resurrection.
- For our parishioners preparing for Christmas, that the Gift Shop's seasonal offerings may encourage meaningful gift-giving and help families keep Christ at the center.
- For all discerning God's call, that our parish Holy Hour and Evening Prayer may deepen Eucharistic devotion, strengthen vocations, and inspire lives of holiness.
- For all parish ministries meeting this week, may the Holy Spirit guide their work and bless their service.
